MOUNTVIEW EXAMS WERE THRILLED TO ATTEND THE FIRST EVER PAULINE QUIRKE ACADEMY PRINCIPALS’ CONFERENCE AND SPEAK WITH PQA PRINCIPALS FROM ACROSS THE WORLD

Mountview Exams was delighted to attend the Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) inaugural Principals’ Conference, joining academy principals from across the UK and as far away as Dubai for a day of professional development, collaboration and celebration. The conference brought principals together to exchange ideas, share best practices and explore new approaches that enhance the continued growth of their academies and students.
We were delighted to meet so many principals throughout the conference and to discuss how performance-based assessments can support young people in developing confidence, creativity and lifelong transferable skills. Visitors to our stand commented on how Mountview shares a similar ethos to PQA, their website stating that the arts “have a positive impact on the mental and emotional wellbeing of young people, as well as opening up their minds to a whole world of creativity and fun”. We were thrilled that our two syllabuses, Solo and Group Musical Theatre, met the needs of different principals, those who wanted whole school performances assessed and those who were looking at coordinating additional classes for some of their keen students.
We had some very exciting conversations and would like to thank everyone involved for their warm welcome; we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the PQA family.
