SWISH THEATRE SCHOOLS STUDENTS BEGIN THEIR MOUNTVIEW EXAMS WITH A RANGE OF MUSICAL THEATRE MEDLEYS

Students at Swish Theatre Schools have begun taking their Mountview Exams as part of their end-of-year showcase performances, introducing them to a whole new approach of assessment.
Our innovative syllabus sees students undertaking their assessments alongside their peers and in front of a live audience, making the whole experience more fun and authentic, whilst celebrating the creativity and confidence developed throughout the year.
With two four sessions already complete, we will be assessing a grand total of 182 students in two types of qualification – Group Performance and Individual within a Group Performance qualifications. Each showcase opens with a Cinderella medley from Stage 1 students, moving through to Stage 2’s Princess and the Frog medley, and finally finishing with a Wonderland medley from Stage 3 students. Our Group Musical Theatre Syllabus is designed with flexibility and accessibility at its core, allowing performances to be assessed in multiple formats, such as the Swish showcases featuring multiple groups. We’re able to fit neatly into this existing framework offered by the school, ensuring that the exceptional work which the performers have created is recognised.
