What is a Private Centre?
A Private Centre is a suitable venue where our examinations can take place outside of the Mountview Peckham building. Anyone can register a venue as a Private Centre, whether that is a school, an arts venue, theatre or hired space, providing the rooms used meet our Centre Compliance Checklist. Once a venue is registered with us, exams can be booked via our online portal, ExamTrack, and we would send an examiner to you to run the session.
Why become a Private Centre?
- You can choose your exam date to best suit your requirements.
- Performers are more likely to take exams in a space they are familiar with and one which is close to their home.
- You can schedule the exams at times which work well for each performer.
- It is more cost effective, as you won’t need to pay for travel or accommodation to join us at one of our Public Centres.
- We will send an examiner to your venue, providing you meet our daily minimum fee.
What do I need to become a Private Centre?
- A passion for developing imagination and creativity in musical theatre performers across all ages.
- An established institution with a roster of students keen to take part in Mountview Exams.
- A venue which meets our Centre Compliance Checklist.
