Launched in 2024, Mountview Exams is a performer-focused examination board from the internationally recognised arts education institution, Mountview. Our Musical Theatre qualifications are for everyone – there are no age restrictions and performers can enter at any Grade so long as they can meet the task requirements.
We aim to give performers total creative agency with no restriction of a set repertoire list, enabling free choice of content suitable for each Grade.
Our non prescriptive stance on exam repertoire material encourages performers to choose freely and according to their own taste, interest, and ability, and to be the originators of their work. Live performance is valued as a unique, irreplicable experience, for performer and audience alike, and our examiners look forward to engaging with those performances face to face.
